Diet/Fat Loss/Exercise

There is a thin person inside you FIGHTING to get out.

Here’s a FACT for You…65% of the Adult Population is Overweight
(You Don’t Have to be One of Them)

It’s not just because your health at stake.

It’s not just about “eating well.”

Do you have kids?

Do you plan on seeing your grandkids?

Being overweight (or as I call it, overfat) greatly increases your chances of heart disease, high cholesterol, diabetes, arthritis, cancer, early death, and a host of other PREVENTABLE diseases.

I’ll be the first one to tell you that dieting has become a billion dollar business in our country, because almost all diets fail.

Honestly, how many diets have you started?  You lost weight, didn’t you?  But you’ve gained all the weight back plus a few pounds, right?

“I’ve studied and/or tried more diets than I can count.  The eating plan I developed allows you to ‘Lose Weight, Look Great, and Eat Whatever You Want; Just Not Whenever You Want.'” – Dr. West Conner

There are many factors that go into a well-designed eating plan…the foods you enjoy, your personal schedule, family issues, budget, and lifestyle just to name a few.  If you need a custom plan designed around your individualized goals and lifestyle, Dr. Conner can formulate a plan for you.

The body uses food for energy and to grow and repair.  Too much food, and your body will store the excess for later (FAT).  Too little food and your body will use the stored food (FAT) for energy.

“What you eat is by far the biggest contributing factor to how you look.  There are also ways to “trick” the body so as not to plateau in your fat loss efforts.” – Dr. West Conner

With his knowledge of the body, Dr. Conner knows which supplements and which medications work to increase fat loss.  His tips, tricks, and medical knowledge can have you dropping pounds in no time.

Proper eating is only part of the fat loss equation…

Exercise plays one part in losing fat.  Even something as simple as walking will speed-up your results.

You don’t HAVE to exercise to lose fat, but you have to exercise to be healthy.  Exercise burns calories and weight training increases muscle size.  Muscle burns calories just to survive.  The more muscle you have, the more food you can eat and not gain weight.

“I get this a lot, ‘West, what can I take to lose weight?’  My answer usually surprises them, ‘Two things, you take the fork out of your mouth and you take your butt off the couch.’  Simple and direct.” – Dr. West Conner

With over 25 years experience in the gym, Dr. Conner has learned a few things along the way.

“I’m not what you’d consider a ‘big guy.’  I’m barely 5’10” and for the most part, weight around 200 pounds.  But I’ve learned how to quickly gain muscle size when I want to, and quickly lose body fat when I want to.” – Dr. West Conner

There are countless exercise contraptions being sold on info-mercials every day.  Most are junk that will soon be collecting dust in someone’s garage.  Nothing will ever replace good-old hard work in the gym with real weights; dumbbells, barbells, plates, benches, and a few select machines.

People often ask me, ‘What the best supplement for gaining muscle?’  My answer is always, ‘Iron.  You go into the gym, and lift it.'” – Dr. West Conner

Just like an individualized eating program, Dr. Conner can formulate an exercise program around your lifestyle.

Health and hormone coaching is a process, not a band-aid approach.  If you live in the Nashville area, face-to-face sessions are an added bonus to the process.  However, with the magic of technology, Skype and video chat are becoming more common, so distance is not an obstacle to your success.
